WORCESTER, MA — The city said it will host an emergency press conference on Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m. to share news related to food and heating assistance funding for residents.

This comes on the 30th day of the government shutdown, just a few days after Department of Agriculture officials confirmed that SNAP benefits will not go out in November.
