Clark University Undergrads End Strike
The Clark University undergraduates, who recently unionized to gain pay-related benefits and guaranteed hours, ended their strike.
WORCESTER, MA - The Clark University undergraduate students have ended their strike.
According to an announcement from the Clark University Undergraduate Workers Union, their strike ended on Sunday. They initially unionized because of reported unfair labor practices, and they wanted guaranteed weekly hours and pay equal to what non-students would get.
Roughly 270 student employees joined the picket lines at one point or another, and their efforts are not over just yet.
