Dog Running On Highway Rescued By State Police (With Jerky)

This dog named Dozer is now safely home after being rescued from I-190 by Mass. State Police.

WORCESTER, MA—Several drivers on Wednesday morning called 911 to report that a loose dog was running down the middle of I-190 in Worcester. Trooper Nick D’Angelo was working a detail nearby and headed out to assist, finding several motorists pulled over, trying to capture the dog. No one had been successful.

Luckily for the wandering pup, D’Angelo had brought some homemade deer jerky, and lured the dog to safety. Dozer seemed very grateful for the morning snack, said police.

His owner was located via dog tags, and Dozer was returned safely to his family.
