Driver Injures Toddler In Worcester Along Lincoln Street

WORCESTER, MA — A one-year-old girl was hit and injured by a driver along Lincoln Street Monday night, according to police.

The collision happened just after 9:30 p.m. near 243 Lincoln St., which is near McKinley Road. The girl ran into the street before the driver hit her, police said.

"A nurse on scene, firefighters, and police officers rendered medical aid until the girl was transported to the hospital by ambulance," police said Tuesday morning.

Although the girl suffered a head injury, police said she was in stable condition at a local hospital.
