Small Earthquake Hits Worcester County

The 1.4 magnitude earthquake struck overnight on Wednesday, according to USGS.

WORCESTER, MA — A magnitude 1.4 earthquake struck north of Worcester this week.

The quake was reported at 12:31 a.m. on Wednesday in Westminster, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

This isn't the first earthquake that has hit the northeast this week. A series of quakes struck in New York and New Jersey earlier this week.
