Election Day 2024 : What To Know About Voting In Worcester

Worcester voters will head to the polls Tuesday for the 2024 general election. Here's what you need to know.

WORCESTER, MA — Election Day is upon us, and we've compiled all the pertinent information to know in Worcester before you head to the polls Tuesday.

It's a big year for voters, who will decide between former President Donald Trump and current Vice President Kamala Harris, as well as races for the House of Representatives, Senate and a number of statewide races.

Where, When To Vote In Worcester

Polls are open in Worcester on Election Day, Nov. 5, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. There are dozens of polling locations across Worcester's 10 precincts. You can plug in your address on the City Clerk's website to find your polling location.

If you're voting either by mail or absentee, you can drop your ballot off at City Hall or use a drop box located at any fire station.

Vote-By-Mail Ballots:

All ballots must be returned by close of polls on Election Day.

You may mail ballots to: Worcester Election Commission, 455 Main St, Room 208 Worcester, MA 01608 OR Deliver to One of the Following Vote By Mail Drop Boxes:

  1. Worcester City Hall - City Hall Garage Entrance and 1st Floor Back of the Common Entrance.
  2. Drop boxes will be available at each early voting location during the scheduled voting hours.
  3. Drop boxes will be available at each of the Worcester Fire Stations.

Deadline to receive ballots returned by mail postmarked by November 5:

  • From within the US - November 8 at 5 p.m.
  • From outside the US (including FWABs) - November 15 at 5 p.m.
