Fire concerns around Worcester County are heightened, according to the National Weather Service Boston.
WORCESTER, MA - The National Weather Service Boston issued a statement that the change in humidity has resulted in elevated fire weather concerns for Tuesday.
It's one of the warmest days of the year so far, but residents of Worcester County are still urged to exercise caution when handling any potential ignition sources such as machinery, cigarettes and matches.
Fires have the potential to spread quickly given the combination of high winds and humidity.

"This forecast considered meteorological, fuel and land conditions, and has been developed in coordination with MA, CT and RI fire and land management officials," the statement read.
