Trailer With 7,500 Gallons Of Jet Fuel Detaches On Interstate

No one was injured, but the highway appeared to take some damage when a fuel trailer came off the truck on I-91.

WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA — A fuel trailer detached from a truck on I-91, apparently slicing through the pavement on the highway. The fuel remained in the trailer.

No one was injured in the incident, police said.

State Police said there is a "significant backup." One lane will be open during cleanup.
