Gun Stolen In NH Found On Worcester Stop & Shop Shelf

WORCESTER, MA — A gun stolen several years ago in New Hampshire ended up on a shelf at a Worcester supermarket this week, according to a report.

The gun was found Tuesday at the Grafton Street Stop & Shop, CBS Boston reported. The gun was previously reported stolen in 2021.

New Hampshire has the weakest gun control laws of all New England states, according to the gun policy organization Everytown. The state does require gun owners to store firearms locked up and unloaded at home.

Conversely, Massachusetts has some of the strictest gun laws in the country, requiring permits and background checks for every gun purchase.
