Harrington Hospital Celebrates New ICU Unit
Bigger rooms with increased capacities for equipment and procedures are just some of Harrington Hospital's new ICU unit's accommodations.

WORCESTER COUNTY, MA - This morning, Harrington Hospital held a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of its new intensive care unit and intermediate step-down unit.
In attendance were hospital leadership, caregivers, local legislator and donors. The $8 million expansion increases the capacity of the ICU, provides an improved patient and family experience and utilizes the advanced clinical resources the hospital has at its disposal/
There will be more opportunity for in-room procedures, as the new rooms have more space for advanced equipment, mobile technologies and additional caretakers. The new ICU rooms will accommodate more visitors, and they're even big enough for loved ones to now stay overnight.
