WORCESTER, MA—Police are looking to identify a person found on surveillance they say may have been involved in a bank robbery earlier on Tuesday.
On Jan. 30 around 11:40 a.m. Worcester Police responded to the DCU Bank, located at 11 Tobias Boland Way, for a reported unarmed robbery. When officers got there, the suspect had taken off in a small grey vehicle.
The clerk told police that a Hispanic male with a beard, approximately 5’5”, approximately 150 pounds, wearing a dark hat, scarf, and a dark colored jacket, approached the counter and slid a note towards her. The note demanded cash and contained threats. The clerk provided an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect. The suspect did not speak to the clerk during the ordeal and left immediately after receiving the cash, said police.
