Here, Kitty Kitty! Bobcat Spotted In Southbridge Neighborhood

SOUTHBRIDGE, MA—The bobcat is the only wild cat that is found in the state, according to MassWildlife. They're common, too, around central and western Massachusetts and across the northeast.

One of these bobcats was reportedly spotted over the weekend in Southbridge in the Pleasant Street area.

Police advised, "please be mindful of small children and your pets. Please secure any possible food sources such bird feeders and open trash containers. Please to not approach the animal."

Bobcats rarely cause conflicts with human activities, but here are some things you should know.
