I-290 On-Ramp In Worcester Closing Due To Construction: MassDOT
The closure will only last for one night while MassDOT crews work, according to the agency.

WORCESTER, MA — A downtown-area on-ramp to I-290 will close for one night this week in Worcester due to construction.
The exit 18 on-ramp from Grafton Street to the eastbound lanes heading toward Shrewsbury will close starting at 11 p.m. Wednesday. The ramp will reopen by 4 a.m., according to MassDOT.
"This temporary overnight traffic impact is necessary to allow crews and contractors to conduct construction operations safely and effectively," the agency said.

MassDOT will have a detour in place, but did not immediately name the route. Traffic can access the eastbound I-290 lanes via nearby Mulberry Street.
The I-290 ramp closure is one of two highway disruptions in the area this week. MassDOT will close the westbound exit 96 off ramp along the Mass Pike each night this week from 9 p.m. to 5 p.m. the next day.
