According to the JCC's announcement, the Gala is the most important fundraising effort of the year for the JCC Youth Scholarship Program, which provides assistance to families in financial need for summer camp, after school care, preschool, swim lessons, and more. Last year the JCC Youth Scholarship Program supported 115 children.

“The Annual Gala provides critical funding for scholarships that have helped thousands of children in need attend and benefit from our programs,” said Emily Rosenbaum, executive director of the Worcester JCC, in a statement. “We are very grateful to our sponsors from the business community who have stepped forward to help. These leaders are certainly great examples of how the JCC works to bring everyone together.”
Disk Jockey Benny Goodman, who participated in JCC youth programs when he was younger, spins tunes. There is also a silent auction. Tickets for the Annual Gala are $125 each and tables of 10 are $1,000, and can be purchased online by clicking here.
