Kind Dubs From Kind Bud At Electric Haze: Featured Local Event

WORCESTER, MA—This week's featured Worcester calendar event comes courtesy of Electric Haze, which brings in Kind Bud for a one of a kind looping-good show.

The show, which takes place on Thursday, March 15, opens at 8:30 p.m. features Mr. Bud, of the Kind Buds, who creates acoustic guitar overdubs for an act he has named "Kind Dubs” and after 135 solo shows, his mastery of his looper is as much of a skill as playing the guitar itself.

Bud records his guitar rhythm live on the looper and then hits a button that kicks off the rhythm he recorded. Bud feeds off that rhythm, taking leads and layering sounds. A Kind Bud show has a mixture of original tunes, Jerry Garcia, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and other tunes in the funky vein.

Kind Bud, a Rex Foundation artist, has been part of Grateful Dead Night at Fenway Park for two consecutive years. Bud was also part of Dead & Company's Boston Action Day last June, performing for Positive Legacy while volunteers made a positive impact on a homeless shelter in Boston by creating community gardens.
