Labor Coalition Holds Presentation To Support Worcester Works

WORCESTER, MA— In Spirit of Labor Day members of the Worcester Community Labor Coalition (WCLC), City Councilor Sarai Rivera and other Worcester residents holds a presentation in support of the Coalition’s Worcester Works Campaign.
"As Worcester’s renaissance takes hold and our City increasingly experiences economic growth we cannot avoid conversations of gender, race and equity," said the release. "We must make sure all members of our
community are included in Worcester’s success."

The Worcester Community-Labor Coalition formed in 2012 as an effort bring to secure a place for community and organized labor’s participation in economic development decisions taking place in Worcester, according to the press release.
"Economic development decisions directly impact our communities and they can either build and support our neighborhoods or add to divisions and disparities."
