The Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts (PFFM) officially endorsed Joe Early Jr. in his campaign for District Attorney. PFFM announced its endorsement at a crowded event at the Franklin Street Fire Station in Worcester. The Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts (PFFM), representing more than 12,000 workers along with thousands of retirees across Worcester County, is supporting DA Early in the race because of his commitment to representing working people and his decades of public service.

"The more than 12,000 Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts are proud to endorse Joe Early Jr. as he seeks re-election for Worcester County District Attorney," said PFFM President Rich MacKinnon. "His commitment to public safety is unquestioned, and he understands the critical role that PFFM members provide. As our members are out in the streets and on the front lines of the opioid crisis, they know that their District Attorney is working hard to prevent the addiction before the emergency occurs. We look forward to continue working together to ensure public safety in Joe's next term as District Attorney. The Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts are proud to support those who support us."

Standing with PFFM leadership, Joe accepted the coveted endorsement and reiterated his commitment to helping workers in Worcester County. DA Early emphasized that he would continue to seek and build ways to strengthen community.

”I’m thrilled to receive the endorsement of the Massachusetts Professional Fire Fighters and the Worcester Local 1009 today," said Early. "To have the support of the brave men and women who risk their lives everyday is an honor. I am proud of the great work we have done together to fight and bring awareness of the opioid epidemic that has swept our County."
