Man Charged With Selling Cocaine, Having Ammo And Switchblade

Police set up surveillance around this guy's house, and it proved productive for them.

WORCESTER, MA—On March 29, the vice squad set up surveillance at a Forbes Street address, where the target-Raphet Seda, 35, left the apartment and got into a vehicle. He was pulled over, and officers spotted a switchblade and 13 ammunition cartridges in the read of the vehicle.

Police also went into the residence and found a shotgun, several shotgun shells, ammunition, a clear bag of white powder, packaging materials and a shoulder holster in the bedroom. There were two abandoned cars on the property, and inside of them was a large quantity of .22 ammunition and rifle cartridges and digital scales.

Seda did not have an FID card or license to carry firearms, said police.

He is charged with Possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute (cocaine), Possession of a firearm without an FID card (shotgun), use of a Firearm in a Felony, Carrying a Dangerous Weapon (switchblade), Possession of a Class E Substance with intent to Distribute, and several counts of Possession of ammunition without an FID card. Seda was placed under arrest at about 8 p.m. and will be arraigned in Worcester District Court.
