Man Gets Up To 20 In Death Of Worcester Woman Found Burned

Dominic Jackson pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the 2013 death of a Worcester woman whose body was found burned behind a duplex.

WORCESTER, MA—A man pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of a woman, her body found bloody and burned behind a Worcester duplex in December of 2013.

Dominic Jackson, 38, King Street, Worcester, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the killing of 20-year-old Alyssa Forino and was sentenced 19 to 20 years in prison, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.

Jackson contacted Worcester Police on Dec. 4, 2013, to say that he knew the location of a dead woman. With Jackson’s help, police were able to find the body near 60 Suffolk St. in Worcester.

Jackson was originally charged as an accessory to the slaying, the charge elevated to first degree murder when he was indicted in 2014, reports the Worcester Telegram and Gazette. The charge was reduced to manslaughter after he pleaded guilty.

The Telegram reports that Jackson told investigatorshe had been smoking crack cocaine for hours with the woman and two men when one of those men hit her on the head with a rock, and that he helped move the body and burn it for the payment of crack.
