Man Indicted for Manslaughter in Worcester Robbery Death

WORCESTER, MA—A man is facing manslaughter and unarmed robbery charges related to the assault that resulted in the death of a 40-year-old earlier this year.
A Worcester County Grand Jury handed up an indictment on Friday against Samson Beauregard in the death of a robbery victim earlier this year, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.
Beauregard, 44, was indicted on manslaughter and unarmed robbery charges in the death of 40-year-old Dai Ha. Ha was the victim of a robbery and an assault on May 15, 2017, that occurred on Mount Pleasant Street in Worcester. Five days later, Ha died as a result of his injuries.

Beauregard is currently being held without bail at the Essex County House of Correction on an unrelated probation matter. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Worcester Superior Court on Jan. 4, 2018.
Sheila Pagan-Ariyo, 25, Norfolk Street, Worcester, had previously been indicted on the charge of unarmed robbery for her alleged role in the robbery of Ha.
