Machete Road Rage Attack In Worcester: 1 Injured, Driver Arrested
A driver hit another man in the head with the machete during an incident off Route 146 in Worcester.

WORCESTER, MA — A man was injured Sunday afternoon after a road rage incident involving a machete, according to police.
The incident happened just after 2 p.m. near the intersection of Providence and Millbury streets, which is adjacent to Route 146 ramps. According to police, the driver of a Honda noticed he was being followed, and got out of his car to ask the other driver what was going on.
That's when the other driver pulled out a machete and hit the Honda driver in the head with the back of the blade, police said.

Worcester police found the driver nearby along McKeon Road. They arrested the 40-year-old driver, who lives in Worcester but was driving a car with Rhode Island plates, on charges of armed assault with intent to murder and three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
