Man Shot In Worcester Dies, City Man Charged
The 24-year-old victim was shot on April 9 along Dorchester Street, according to Worcester police.

WORCESTER, MA — A 24-year-old man shot earlier this month has died due to his injuries, and another Worcester resident is facing charges in connection to the incident, according to police.
The unidentified victim was shot April 9 along Dorchester Street. Following the shooting, Worcester police arrested Izaiha Quintal, 20, a Kenyon Avenue resident, on charges including armed assault with intent to murder, misleading a police investigation and weapons law violations.
Quintal, a passenger in the victim's vehicle, appeared in court Wednesday for a dangerousness hearing and was ordered held on bail.

The Dorchester Street shooting victim was the first person to die by homicide in Worcester so far in 2023, and the first victim of homicide since Andrew Barley, 28, died in a Burncoat Street shooting in October.
