Olympian, Worcester Native Preps For 'Dancing With The Stars'

Fresh off a medal-winning Olympics run, Stephen Nedoroscik is prepping for the reality show, which premieres next week.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester native and olympian Stephen Nedoroscik is prepping for the upcoming season premiere of "Dancing with the Stars" with his pro dance partner Rylee Arnold, as reported by Boston.com.

Nedoroscik took home two bronze medals from the Paris Olympics. He was announced as a cast member on the upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars" last month, according to CBS Boston.

Nedoroscik has been posting videos on Instagram showing him practicing for the show with Arnold. The two show off a variety of acrobatic moves that appear to have delighted fans — one video garnered more than 33,000 likes.

He also posted a video of Arnold learning his specialty, the pommel horse. The two went to a gymnastics space where he called Arnold "the GOAT of women's pommel horse."

The 25-year-old known as "Pommel Horse Guy" helped the United States win its first medal in 16 years in men's team gymnastics. He also won bronze in his individual specialty of pommel horse. He's the first male gymnast to compete on the show.

Season 33 of "Dancing with the Stars" premieres Tuesday, Sept. 17, on ABC and Disney+.
