Police Make Human Trafficking Sting At Auburn Hotel
State Police and Auburn police coordinated a sting operation at a hotel in Auburn.

AUBURN, MA—A Dorchester man was charged with human trafficking, three women were given helpful resources and a teenaged girl was brought to the hospital after State Police and Auburn police coordinated a sting operation at an Auburn hotel on Wednesday.
Troopers and officers arrested Orlando Range, 27, who was charged with human trafficking and operating a motor vehicle after license suspension. He was arraigned yesterday on Friday, while bail was set at $340, his bail on an unrelated pending criminal case was revoked, meaning that Range is being held at this time.
Four alleged victims of exploitation were recovered and interviewed. Three women, ages 20, 21, and 33, were released after being interviewed and advised of available resources. The fourth, a 17-year-old girl, was taken to an area hospital for examination. The state Department of Children and Families was notified of the police contact with the 17-year-old.

The investigation and operation were conducted by the MSP High Risk Victims Unit, the Auburn Police Department, the State Police Gang Unit, and the State Police Detective Unit for Worcester County.
