Power Outages Expected, High Winds In Worcester County Through Tonight
A wind warning has been issued for much of Massachusetts, including Worcester County. Power outages across the Commonwealth are expected.

WORCESTER, MA - The National Weather Service Boston issued a warning that high winds will rip through Western Massachusetts Friday.
Winds from 20-30 mph with gusts up to 60 are currently pummeling much of Massachusetts, and Worcester County is expected to remain in the vortex of that through at least 7 p.m. tonight.
"Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines," the warning read. "Power outages are possible."

High-profile vehicle operators are urged to limit travel if possible. The warning also recommends residents remain in the lower level of homes during the windstorm and to avoid windows.
