Quinsigamond Community College Enrollment Hits Historic High, School Says

9,000 students have enrolled this fall.

WORCESTER, MA — A local community college announced that its fall enrollment hit a historic high.

Quinsigamond Community College said about 9,000 students have enrolled this fall, marking the school's highest enrollment in 13 years. The school added that the surge reflects factors, including state programs such as MassEducate and MassReconnect, that provide free tuition and fees to qualifying students.

“This record-breaking enrollment has brought thousands of students on our campus, filled with hopes and dreams," said QCC President Luis Pedraja, Ph.D. "They have come prepared to embrace new beginnings, experience many firsts and pursue a brighter future for themselves and their families.”
