GARDNER, MA—What a way to start the week. It was likely scary for the kids, and the homeowners, but everyone was OK. Firefighters responded on Monday morning to a home in Gardner, where a city school bus had slid into the house. There were eight students on board, and the bus driver, and no one was hurt. The accident was one of multiple on all sides of the city, according to the fire department, during a frigid morning that caused a flash freeze around 5:30 a.m. The house sustained significant damage.Photos via Gardner Fire Department
