Scooter Driver Seriously Injured In Worcester Crash: Police
A motor vehicle struck a scooter Monday night in Worcester, according to police.
WORCESTER, MA — A person driving a scooter was critically injured in a Labor Day crash, according to police.
Police responded to a call at 8:44 p.m. reporting a motor vehicle crash involving a scooter on Grove Street.
An initial investigation found the scooter rider stopped in the road to allow a family to cross in the crosswalk.

At that time, a vehicle struck the rear of the scooter. The scooter driver is being treated for serious injuries. There were no other injuries.
The vehicle's driver remained at the scene of the crash.
