GARDNER, MA — The search for a 33-year-old Air Force veteran wanted in connection to his wife's shooting death will continue after police located his car on Monday evening.
Police across Massachusetts began searching for Aaron Pennington Sunday after his wife, Breanne Pennington, was found shot to death in their Gardner home. The couple's four children — ages 2, 5, 7, and 9 — were near the scene of the shooting, but are now in state custody.
On Monday night, police located Pennington's white BMW near Camp Collier, a 585-acre Scout camp in Gardner. Police surrounded the vehicle, but did not find Pennington. He is thought to be armed with a gun.
