Search On For Suspect Who Robbed Gas Station With Knife: WPD

The man allegedly pulled a knife, demanded money, and took off on foot.

WORCESTER, MA—Police are looking for a suspect they say robbed a gas station at knifepoint early Tuesday morning.

Around 5:40 a.m. on Aug. 21, police were called to the Shell station at 721 Southbridge St. for a report of an armed robbery. Witnesses told police that a man wearing a black hoodie with a black mask had robbed the store at knifepoint.

The suspect was described as a light-skinned male, about 5’7” with an average build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black mask, black leather gloves and armed with a black-handled knife.

Police said that after the suspect came into the store, he pulled out a knife and waved it at the store employee, demanding money. He took off on foot.
