Winners get cash, and a published poem.

WORCESTER, MA—Via Worcester County Poetry Association: The Worcester County Poetry Association (WCPA) is now accepting submissions to its annual poetry contest. Regie Gibson, a nationally known poet, author, and educator, will judge the contest in 2018. The contest is open to anyone who lives, works or studies in Worcester County as well as current members of the WCPA. There is no entry fee for WCPA members. Additional rules can be found at the WCPA website.

Entrees can be made online via Submittable or by mailing submissions to WCPA Poetry Contest, PO Box 804, Worcester, MA, 01613.

The contest judge selects first, second and third place winners from all entrees received. Winners receive a cash prize and the winning poem will be published in the next edition of The Worcester Review, the nationally recognized journal of the WCPA. The winners will read their work at the Winners' Ceremony and Reading this Fall where Regie Gibson will give a reading of his work and meet the poets.
