Service Restored After Water Main Break In Worcester

WORCESTER, MA — There was a water main break on Shore Drive in Worcester over the weekend.

The city announced the break on Saturday morning. Water service has since been restored, but additional repairs will be made on Monday.

During repairs, Norton Drive from West Boylston Street to Shore Drive was closed.

Residents could expect discolored water while the system is fully restored, and National Grid has assessed related power outages, the city said.
