Snow Squalls, High-Speed Winds Advisory Issued For Worcester

A duo of winds and squalls are expected to blanket Worcester throughout the day today.

WORCESTER, MA - The National Weather Service for Boston issued a winter weather advisory in place from 10 a.m. through 10 p.m. today, Jan. 29.

In addition to anticipated snow squalls, high-speed winds are expected to rip through Worcester county at speeds from 15 to 25 mph. Gusts could reach up to 50 mph.

Residents are advised to secure loose objects and brace for any power outages. Driving may also be difficult under the conditions.
