Snowstorm, Ice Closes Worcester Schools

WORCESTER, MA—A winter weather advisory states that a wintry mix is hitting most of Massachusetts on Wednesday between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Snow accumulations of three to five inches and ice of around one tenth are expected in most areas, including Worcester.

As a precaution, Worcester school officials have announced that Worcester public schools are closed on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

Notre Dame Academy and Abby Kelley Foster schools are also closing.

Teachers, kids - you've got another day off. But you may be regretting this come June.
