St. Patrick's Day Parade Traffic Guidelines Issued For Worcester

The annual St. Patrick's Day Parade once again comes to Worcester this Sunday, March 16. Here's what residents need to know.

WORCESTER, MA - The Worcester Police Department announced traffic guidelines and general scheduling information for the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade this Sunday, March 16.

Notable developments include:

  • Park Avenue from Elm to Highland Street will be closed from 6 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Park Avenue will be closed from Institute Road to Main St from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Webster Square (Main Street), Institute Road and Salisbury Street will be the available locations to cross over
  • The Celtic 5K run will begin at 11 a.m.
  • The parade starts at noon.
  • There is no parking on Park Avenue from 6 a.m.-6 p.m.
