Stand Down Event Supports Local Veterans

Last week’s Stand Down event in Worcester brought together more than 150 public and private organizations to support local veterans. Attendees received direct access to job opportunities, housing assistance, healthcare, and other vital resources.

Orion Protective Services, Inc. participated by offering professional security roles that recognize and build on veterans’ skills. “Veterans know what it means to be responsible, dependable, and part of a team. They deserve careers where those strengths are valued and where they have a real sense of belonging,” said President and CEO Edward Ramsdell.

The event highlighted the community’s commitment to providing outreach to veterans from all branches of the armed forces.
