Strong Wind Advisory Issued For Western And Central Mass.
A strong wind advisory has been issued for communities across Massachusetts, as gusts are expected to reach up to 60 mph.

WORCESTER, MA - The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory today at 1:52 p.m., for tomorrow and Thursday, warning of strong gusts across Western and Central Massachusetts.
“West winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts of 45 to 55 mph expected,” the advisory said. “A few brief gusts up to 60 mph possible Thursday across Western and Central Massachusetts.”
The advisory is in place from 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 1 2025, through 10 p.m. the following day, January 2. The most powerful winds are predicted to come during the day on Thursday, and the gusts are expected to impact Worcester County.
