Teen Arrested In Threat To South High, Worcester

A suspect has been arrested in the "vague threat" that was reported on Friday against South High.

WORCESTER, MA—A teenager has been arrested in connection with a threat made against South High School Community School on Friday, according to reports.

Security at South High was heightened on Monday in response to an anonymous call that reported a threat that a student had made, reports the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.

Students had their backpacks screened on the way in, and police security was enhanced, as well as a police dog to search the school. Nothing suspicious was found.
