WORCESTER, MA - Boston's National Weather Service office issued an advisory to Worcester County and other parts of Western and Central Massachusetts. Freezing rain is expected to cause icy conditions early Saturday morning through the afternoon.

The ice will likely only accumulate to a light glaze, but residents should still remain extremely cautious of slipper sidewalks, roads and bridges. Travel conditions may be impacted, too.

Should travel be necessary, slow down and use caution while on the roads.
