WORCESTER, MA — Worcester's 2023 city council and school committee elections are underway after the nomination period opened in early April.

During the nomination period, which lasts until May 30, candidates will pull papers to run for office and then head out into the community to collect signatures from registered voters. It's possible some residents will pull papers and never return them, which means this list will likely change after the deadline.

Here's the list of people who have pulled papers as of May 3. Candidates with an (i) are incumbents.
