Wind Advisory, Gusts Expected To Impact Evening Commute

A wind advisory was extended through Tuesday night by the National Weather Service Boston.

WORCESTER, MA - The National Weather Service Boston issued a wind advisory Tuesday morning.

High-speed winds blowing west are expected to rip through Central Massachusetts through at least 5 p.m. this evening. Most of Worcester and Middlesex counties are expected to be impacted. Winds are estimated to be be between 20 to 25 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph.

Drivers are urged to be cautious when traveling this afternoon and evening, as gusts may blow around unsecured objects and dislodged trees could result in power outages.
