Worcester Church Sponsors 'Compassion For The Caribbean' Benefit
The First Baptist church is holding a fundraiser for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

WORCESTER, MA—The First Baptist Church of Worcester announced that it is sponsoring a fundraiser for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, the US territories devastated by Hurricane Maria.
An evening of love and giving, the program on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 6-10 p.m. includes a presentation, “Puerto Rico: Then and Now” and a Caribbean inspired dinner.
The First Baptist Church is also collecting non-perishable food items and toiletries.

The event also includes traditional Caribbean cuisine, Spanish music, raffles and baskets. Tickets are $20 per person. Checks may be made out to First Baptist Church with a note -- Hurricane Maria Fund. Tickets may be purchased over the phone at 508-755-6143 or reserved over email at RSVP@fbc-worc.org. Only a limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
