The six Councilor-at-large candidates with the most votes were incumbents Petty, King, Kate Toomey, and Morris Bergman, as well as newcomers Gary Rosen and Satya Mitra. That also meant incumbent Donna Colorio would be leaving the City Council.

To request a recount, candidates must file a recount petition form with the local election official. Kamara will also need to receive signatures from a number of registered voters in Worcester.
