As the summer winds down and the temperatures begin to cool off, people are starting to look for fall activities for their families to take part in and the most popular is by far apple picking. Apples are just now coming into season and are waiting to be picked. Be sure not to miss out on the fun and check out the best places in Massachusetts for you and your family to enjoy.
Worcester is in the center of the state, so if you're in the area you have your choice between orchards on the eastern and western side of Massachusetts.

You may have to drive a bit to get to some of them, but it's good to get out of the city for the day and trust us, these places are worth it.

- Open daily from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Make sure to check out Tougas' Picking Conditions page to ensure it's the best time to pick your apples.

- 10 McClellan Road in Sutton.
- Apple picking takes place Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM.
- Apple picking officially began on September 1st and will run until the season is over.

- 44 Old Worcester Road in Charlton.
- Open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays 9:00 AM-4:00 PM. Sundays from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM. Mondays from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM. Charlton is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
- Apple picking officially began in August and will run through October.

- Open daily from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Apples at Brookfield are officially in season and will be through October.

- Open Saturdays and Sundays 12:00 PM-9:00 PM
- Apple picking at Hyland officially begins on September 24th.

- Open 10:00 AM-5:00 PM through the end of October.
