Worcester Man Accused Of Breaking Into Empty Home
Police said they had reason to believe the man took items from the home.
WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police arrested a man for breaking into an empty home on Saturday morning, according to a news release.
The Worcester Police Department said officers suspected Thomas Marnalse, 61, entered a residence on Ericson Street and took some items that didn’t belong to him.
When officers were responding to reports of the home break-in, they were told there was a loud crash right before they arrived. Once they got there, they noticed that a glass patio door was shattered.

Officers said they located Marnalse nearby. He was then arrested for breaking and entering in the daytime to commit a felony, and larceny from a building.
