Worcester Man Charged With Crack Cocaine Distribution

Officers​ witnessed a drug transaction on Millbury Street on Thursday afternoon, according to WPD.

WORCESTER, MA — A man in Worcester was charged with distributing crack cocaine this week, according to police.

Duamel Ocasio, 54, was charged after Worcester police officers witnessed a drug transaction on Millbury Street at around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, according to WPD.

Officers approached the buyer, who was summoned for Possession of a Class B Substance, and then located Ocasio, who was driving a vehicle with three passengers, police said.

There was a rock-like substance suspected to be crack-cocaine behind the gas pedal of the vehicle, according to police.

He was charged with Distribution of a Class B Substance and Possession of a Class B Substance, and the other passengers were free to leave.
