Worcester Man Charged With Driving Car At Firefighters
He stepped on the gas and drove right at them, said police.

WORCESTER, MA—A Worcester man is facing charges after police say he passed out at the wheel, woke up, then gunned his car at some firefighters.
Worcester police headed to 765 Main St. around 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 2, after getting a call that someone had been struck by a vehicle. When they got there, a firefighter said that one of them had been hit by a vehicle on Beacon Street.
Firefighters were there because a man had passed out behind the wheel. That man, later identified as Krisopher Nater, 29, Tower Street, woke up and saw the firefighters walking toward him. He stepped on the gas and drove right at them, said police. Two of the firefighters jumped out of the way, but one was struck by the side of the car. Nater didn't stop and continued down Hermon Street toward Main Street.
