WORCESTER, MA - A Worcester man was struck and killed by a driver in Virginia, according to a news release from the Prince William County Police Department.

Around 9 p.m. on March 20, Miles Jonathan Moore, 53, was crossing a street in Woodbridge, VA, and was struck by two different drivers. The police said they're still searching for one of the drivers involved in the accident.

The news release stated Moore was first struck while outside the crosswalk by the driver of Toyota Highlander, and then subsequently hit by an unknown vehicle. The Toyota driver stayed at the scene, while the other driver left. Moore was transported to the hospital, but succumbed to the injuries sustained in the collisions.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help the family with transportation and funeral costs

"Miles treated his community like family, always there for others in need," the fundraiser page read. "Now, we ask for your generosity to honor his life and legacy."
