Worcester Named One Of The Best Places To Live in 2025
See which Massachusetts cities ranked in the top 100.

WORCESTER, MA — It looks like you don’t have to go too far to visit one of the best places to live in the U.S.
Worcester was named as one of the top spots to live in the country this year, according to Livability's 2025 ranking.
The site highlights Worcester’s art and culinary scene, as well as it being a quintessential college town with plenty of career opportunities. There are eight colleges in the city.

Livability ranks the best places based on their economy, housing, cost of living, amenities, transportation, environment, safety, education and health.
But Worcester wasn’t the only city in Massachusetts to make the top 100. Lynn was also on the list. The suburb of Boston is known for its beaches, landmarks, colorful murals and artsy downtown

Plus, both cities made it high on the list of the top 25 places to live in the Northeast.
Lynn is No. 11, and Worcester is No. 12. Also on that list were Fall River, Brockton, Lowell and Lawrence.
