WORCESTER, MA —A longstanding Worcester nonprofit has received funding from the global nonprofit Herbalife Family Foundation.

The Herbalife Family Foundation awarded a $40,000 grant to Friendly House, a Worcester-based nonprofit dedicated to the educational, social, individual, and family development of residents. HFF has distributed $5 million this year to 165 nonprofit organizations, benefiting more than 200,000 children globally.

Friendly House, at 35 Wall St., is a Casa Herbalife Program partner, which means it works with HFF to expand access to meals, education and safe environments for children and families.
